Why Can't Everyday Be Like CHRISTMAS?!!

Sweet Baby,

We had such a nice Christmas! Your Daddy & I spent the whole day together - just the two of us. It was wonderful. The only thing that could have made it better is if you had been there w/ us...but soon hopefully you will be!

I simply adore Holidays! I love the celebrating, the good food, the good cheer, the fun of it all. I believe you can always find a reason to celebrate. I can't wait to share that with you....life should be filled with as much joy as possible. Daddy & I stayed the entire day in our pajamas! We watched "It's a Wonderful Life" and ate yummy food all day long...it was a cozy kind of day with lots of love! The best part was tonight when it started to snow!! :)

Tomorrow we get to see Mimi & Grandpap and Aunty Ashley & Uncle Scott and of course your cousins Ava girl & Gav Gav!! You have the cutest cousins in the world...they can't wait for you to come into the world too! We love you...even now, mommy

A dream is a WISH your heart makes....

I'm very ashamed of myself for beginning this endeavor & not sticking to the committment that it requires! I can hardly believe my last blog entry was nearly 10 months ago...so sad. I will be better about it going forward...especially now that we have overcome some obstacles & now can proudly say that we are officially trying to conceive. It will all happen in God's perfect timing but I feel like we are so close now to starting our little family. I had some problems when going off of birth control, which led to the discovery of uterine polyps that had to be surgically removed. The surgery was a success & so we are so hopeful now that we will actually become parents. I feel as if a veil of doubt & fear has been lifted. A woman's intuition should never be ignored...I knew in my heart something was wrong even years ago. Now I feel like I just might be granted this wish...my heart has real hope!

And so little one...we are ardently looking forward to the day when we know your arrival is near!

SNOW day!

We had a delicious snow day weekend of pure laziness!  Your daddy & I were enjoying our entire weekend of just laying around watching movies and tv together.  I made some peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that were heavenly...we had those w/ hot chocolate and marshmallows! We were enjoying the little things that can only be taken advantage of when your snowed up together...the comforts of home should never be overlooked.  Sometimes it takes snow angels to give us days where it's just best to just stay at home!  I'm so thankful for that kind of weekend w/ my love...one day you will be here and we hope to enjoy many snow days with you too!

Last day of January...exciting steps begin in February for the start of our little family!

xoxo
